Today i got such a comment:
"A woman, being a medic in a German army in the World War II time?
I don't think so, As far as I'm informed mostly Slavic people had women in army (Poland, Russia, Yugoslavia...) and Germans clearly stated that women had to stay at home, give birth to kids, take care of them and look pretty.
So yeah, this is slightly historically incorrect and people who know me can tell how stubborn I am about that, especially the WWII era."

And i want to say - that your way of thinking is wrong.
During war there were female medics, but deep behind frontline. As far as possible from frontline. Usually you could see men on battlefields, but later wounded were send behind frontline, where other medics ( sometimes women) helped them. Of course their number was little, but still you could find them.
Maybe she also was sended to treat soldiers and gain experience for the future.
